Time Release Study

The State Customs Committee has implemented the “Time Release Study” (TRS) project at all customs border crossing points of the Republic of Azerbaijan based on the methodology established in the World Customs Organization's “Guide to Measure the Time Required for the Release of Goods”.

The goal of the project is to determine the time spent for border crossing of goods and vehicles, their release, and time spent between crossing and release, identify existing problems in the overall business process based on the analysis of the collected statistical data and, on the basis of mentioned data, provide more efficient border crossing management of goods and vehicles and process of customs clearance.
