A meeting was held with members of the "Caspian Energy Club"
On 7 May, a meeting was held between the leadership of the State Customs Committee and members of the "Caspian Energy Club".
Chairman of the "Caspian Energy Club", Telman Aliyev, expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the organization and the customs authorities, emphasizing that strengthening customs-business dialogue plays an important role in fostering a favorable business environment and facilitating smooth and efficient foreign trade operations.
Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant- General of the Customs Service Shahin Baghirov, highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation with foreign trade participants by utilizing all available opportunities within customs-business relations. It was also noted that the tools currently being developed within the customs service enable the determination of customs value on a methodological basis and ensure effective customs control over goods and means of transport through the application of modern customs administration methods.
The issues raised during the customs-business forum and their resolution contribute not only to supporting businesses but also to increasing transparency and strengthening a competitive business environment.
Within the framework of the meeting, certificates were presented to new members of the "Caspian Energy Club".
The event also provided an opportunity for an exchange of views on issues encountered by business representatives during foreign trade operations. Participants’ proposals and comments were heard, and their questions were answered in detail.
