A follow-up meeting was held within the framework of customs-business cooperation
A meeting was held between the State Customs Committee and the German-Azerbaijan Foreign Trade Chamber (AHK).
During the "AHK Impuls" traditional event, Tobias Baumann, Executive Director of the German-Azerbaijan Foreign Trade Chamber, spoke about the cooperation between the organization he represents and the Azerbaijani customs service, noting that the recent improvements and innovations in the customs system have created new opportunities for further developing the customs-business dialogue and strengthening relations. In his presentation, the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Customs Service Lieutenant General Shahin Baghirov, stated that one of the main goals of the customs service is to create a favorable environment for business representatives, ensure a transparent, equal-rights working environment, and make services accessible. To this end, modern, innovative projects are being implemented to simplify and speed up customs operations, increase the rationality of procedures, and expand digital solutions, from which business representatives can benefit. During the meeting, information was also provided to chamber members about the strategic goals, priority directions, ongoing and future projects outlined in the customs authorities' Activity Program. At the end, the opinions and suggestions of business representatives were heard, and their questions were answered in detail.
