Customs Representatives
To the attention of customs representatives!
Persons wishing to carry out the direct customs representation activities should apply for registration only through the Foreign Trade Participant's personal account, by submitting documents specified by the legislation to the State Customs Committee.
Legal persons and their staff wishing to carry out the indirect customs representation activities should possess a qualification certificate to act as customs clearance specialists. In order to participate in an exam, they need to register in the prescribed manner.
Customs representation is regulated in line with the Customs Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No.17 dated January 23, 2014 on approval of "Rules on Customs representation, as well as regulations governing the activities of the customs broker", Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No.207 dated September 19, 2012 on approval of "Regulations on issuance, suspension and cancellation of qualification certificates to customs clearance specialists" and Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No.230 dated October 12, 2012 on approval of "Rules for maintaining the state register of customs brokers".
