Improvements in the customs system were discussed

A meeting was held with members of the Tax and Customs Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan.

On July 12, a meeting was held at the State Customs Committee with members of the Tax and Customs Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AMCHAM). During the meeting, discussions were held on recent improvements in the customs system and the projects being implemented. It was noted that customs authorities place special importance on ensuring the satisfaction of citizens and entrepreneurs, and on studying the proposals and opinions of foreign trade participants and other target groups in the decision-making process. The benefits of the improvements in the customs system to businesses, customs valuation, short import declarations, legislation, and other topics were discussed, the opinions and feedback of chamber members were heard, and their questions were answered in detail.
