Secretary General of the World Customs Organization visited the Academy of the State Customs Committee
Kunio Mikuriya, the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization, who is visiting our country, made a visit to the Academy of the State Customs Committee on March 16.
Talking with teachers and students in the auditoriums, the Secretary General was informed about the activities of the Academy, the forms and directions of education here.
It was noted that one of the urgent issues in the rapidly digitalizing world is the provision of information security, and the cybersecurity laboratory, which has just started operating at the Academy, creates wide opportunities for students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in this direction.
Kunio Mikuriya also looked at students paintings and got acquainted with the educational process in the laboratory, where the skills of customs officers are improved in using technical control tools.
At the end, the Secretary General of WCO watched the literary and artistic composition prepared by the students of the Academy on the occasion of the Novruz holiday.
