The Chairman of the State Customs Committee had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy

On March 30, the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Customs Service Lieutenant General Mr. Shahin Bagirov had a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Italian Republic to our country Mr. Claudio Taffuri. 

At the meeting, mutual cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and Italy were discussed, as well as the importance of establishing more efficient and business relations in the customs sphere. It was stated that the Republic of Italy is one of the important trade partners of Azerbaijan, and the customs authorities have made an important contribution to the development and regulation of economic and trade relations between the two countries. At the same time, discussions were held on the prospects of cooperation between the customs authorities of the two countries in the direction of initial information exchange.
