The Chairman of the SCC met with the Director General of the Customs Administration of the Kingdom of Norway

During his visit to Brussels for participation in the 141st/142nd Session of the Customs Cooperation Council of the World Customs Organization the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Lieutenant-General of the Customs Service Mr. Shahin Baghirov met with the delegation led by the Director General of the Customs Administration of the Kingdom of Norway Mr. Oystein Bormer.

At the meeting, the perspectives of cooperation between the customs authorities of the two countries, further expansion of relations, sharing of best practices, especially the study of Norway's experience in determining the customs value of goods were exchanged.

In order to intensify the activities and increase the efficiency of the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the World Customs Organization Europe Region located in Baku issues on strengthening cooperation between the customs services of the countries of the region and establishing communication in an easier and simpler way were also discussed at the meeting. 

At the same time, they exchanged views on the issues to be discussed at the Session and the upcoming elections to the WCO Customs Cooperation Council.
