The Chairman of the SCC met with the Director General of the Taxation and Customs Union of the EU

During his visit to Brussels for participation in the 141st/142nd Session of the Customs Cooperation Council of the World Customs Organization the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Lieutenant-General of the Customs Service Mr. Shahin Baghirov met with the Director General of the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union of the European Union (EU) Mr. Gerassimos Thomas. 

At the meeting, views on customs issues on multilateral and bilateral platforms were exchanged, and the need to strengthen the activities of the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the World Customs Organization Europe Region located in Baku was highlighted. 

Mr. Vagif Sadigov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of our country to the Kingdom of Belgium, also participated in the meeting.
