Lusy is a female German Shepherd. German Shepherds can live long lives with proper nutrition and suitable environmental conditions. They are not aggressive and can live harmoniously with children, other dogs, and cats when properly trained. They are loyal to their owners but can also work with others when properly trained, an essential quality for a service dog. On November 27, 2019, at the Bilasuvar customs post, a service dog named "Lusy" was used to inspect a "Renault" freight vehicle carrying "artificial leather" from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine. The dog reacted to the rolls of artificial leather in the trailer. Upon inspection, 304 kg 154 grams of heroin was found hidden in 288 rolls, packed inside cylindrical capron tubes.
