Delegation of the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova pays a visit to our country

The delegation led by Igor Talmazan, Director of the Customs Service of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova pays a visit to our country.

On April 27, the delegation visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to Heydar Aliyev, national leader of Azerbaijan and laid a wreath at his grave.

They also paid tribute to prominent ophthalmologist-scholar, academician Zarifa Aliyeva and put flowers at her grave.

The guests visited the Alley of Martyrs to pay their respect to the sons of our motherland, who sacrificed their lives for the liberation and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath at their graves.

Then, the delegation led by the Director of the Customs Service of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova Igor Talmazan met with the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service lieutenant general Shahin Bagirov.

At the meeting issues of enhancement of cooperation in the field of exchanging preliminary information between the customs authorities of two countries and working out a draft agreement on this issue, conducting mirror statistics, learning the experience of the Moldova Customs on the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS), the possibilities of electronic submission of certificates of origin, as well as operational investigative activities and strengthening cooperation in the fight against crimes were discussed. At the same time, exchange of opinions was conducted for learning and applying the exemplary experience of the Azerbaijani customs authorities in the field of application of information technologies by Moldova Customs.

After the meeting, a presentation on the application of information technologies in Azerbaijan customs was demonstrated.
